I rase mostly ramai org suka chocolate cake especially kanak2. This is one of the best ever recipes (choc cake) yg I dah cuba. I did it for my hubby's besday last week. Actually I buat 1/2 adunan sahaja guna loyang 8". Kek naik agak tinggi and tekstur cake lembut dan moist, dah mcm sponge cake pulak I rase. I tak sempat nak snap photos step by step coz nak cepat konon nak buat suprise kat myhubby. Cubalah..yummy...delicious..

Rupa kek ni comot skit bila potong coz x sempat nak simpan lama dlm peti ais spy cream layer mengeras..apa pun kek choc ni mmg mabeles!! nmpk kan rupa kek tu berpeluh? huhu
Death by Chocolate Cake (Choc Moist Cake with Ganache)
Bahan2 : Loyang 9"
2 cwn gula (kisar)- I rase better use castor sugar then kisar
2 cwn tepung gandum ( I used superfine flour)
3 biji telur grade A
1 cwn cocoa powder
1 cwn susu cair ( I used susu Ideal)
1 cwn butter cair / minyak ( I used minyak jagung)
1 cwn air panas didih
1 tsp soda bicarbonat
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp esen vanila
Ganache topping :
2 cwn non dairy whipping cream
500g cooking choc
1/8 cwn golden syrup ( optional ) - I tak letak
Whipping cream :
1 cwn non dairy whipping cream ( I rase next time i nak lebihkan sedikit whipping cream coz hanya dpt salutan yg nipis utk keseluruhan kek )
Cara-cara :
- Ayak tepung, koko, soda bicarbonat dgn baking power bersama.
- Pukul gula dan telur sampai kembang, then tambh esen vanila
- Masukkan susu dan minyak/butter dlm adunan, kacau sebati
- Masukkan bahan2 yg diayak tadi ke dlm adunan, gaul dgn cara kaup balik
- Masukkan air panas , kacau sebati
- Bakar selama 45 min pd suhu 17-180c. Boleh juga kukus selama lbh krg 1 jam. ( I bakar je)
- Untuk ganache, didhkan whipping cream atas api. Bila dah didih masukkan cooking choc yg dah dipotong kecil2. Kacau sebati dan tmbah golden syrup. Ambil 1 cwn ganache dan bakinya simpan dlm peti sejuk.
- Untuk whipped cream, pukul 1 cwn whipping cream sampai soft peak, kemudian tuang 1 cwn ganache yg diasingkan tadi ke dlm whipped cream. Kacau sebati.
- Bila kek dah siap masak, potong 2 lapis. Sapukan dgn whipped cream choc tadi di atas separuh kek yg dipotong. Letak semula kek di atas lapisan tu dan sapukan pula sehingga menutupi keseluruhan kek. Simpan dlm peti ais selama lbh krg 30 min.
- Ambil kek yg telah disimpan tadi, sapukan pula dgn baki ganache yg telah dismpan dlm peti ais. Terpulang kpd kreativiti masing2 untuk mendeco cake. Simpan semula dlm peti ais lbh krg 30min.
